22 Year Old Zumbach Files Entry For Iowa 150

Ross Zumbach will make his ASA Midwest Tour debut at the Iowa Speedway for Superstar Motorsports on Friday September 14th, 2012. Ross will pilot the #89 Super Late model as he makes his third start on the 7/8 Mile race track in Newton, Iowa. "The place gives me goosebumps. It is really cool to know that when I was 5 it all started a few miles away at Newton Kart Klub, and it is amazing how things come full circle." Ross looks to build on momentum from previous races this season in the TUNDRA series. "Racing at the Dells with the caliber of drivers there has really helped me build confidence before making my ASA Midwest debut. All of these guys are really good at what they do and I really look forward to racing with them finally." Though he has never raced a super late at the World Class facility Ross has logged hundreds of laps and believes it will help him come race day. "All of these guys have been on the racetrack before, but I feel last time I was here in the ASALMS Challenge race I learned a lot that will help me transition, and I feel extremely confident going into the raceday. Our goal is to have a presence all weekend and take everything as it comes. It is truly a dream to race at this racetrack with caliber of talent." The Iowa Speedway is known for its fans and the race day experience and the Iowa 150 is sure to be a great show.
